We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable, ensuring a well-deserved sleep. The staff were very kind and helpful. The outdoor lounge area provided a great space for socializing with a magnificent view of the river. The hostel is clean and the facilities are excellent. The location is convenient, within walking distance of the main sights in town. The breakfast was delicious and there was free tea and coffee available all day.

The rooms at Funny Riverside Backpackers are absolutely fantastic! They have air conditioning, which is a lifesaver in this hot weather. And let me tell you about the view from the patio - stunning! You can see the mountains right from your room. It's like a dream come true for a nature lover like me.

I personally didn't enjoy the safety deposit box. It felt a bit unnecessary for me, but hey, I'm sure others might find it useful.

I had a fantastic stay at Funny Riverside Backpackers in Luang Prabang. My partner and I stayed there for 4 nights in their 4 bunk room. The room was spacious with lockable cupboards in each bunk, as well as privacy curtains, plug sockets, and reading lights. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the free tea and coffee available all day on the beautiful terrace overlooking the Nam Khan River. The family and staff were friendly and helpful, and there were even two cute dogs on the premises. The hostel is conveniently located within walking distance of the night market and main attractions in town. They also offer organized bus trips to Kuang Si waterfalls and airport transport can be arranged. The laundry service was affordable and our clothes came back in good condition. a lovely hostel with a great social vibe and nice amenities.
